Our brand was born in 2004 when Allana and Bertie Steuart created a unique fundraiser to help needy community members. We made 400 bottles of Bertie's famous pepper sauce, and the response was overwhelming. The demand for this fantastic sauce was so high that we decided to keep producing it, and before long, local restaurants and mini-marts were clamoring for it too.
Today, Bertie's is a household name in Trinidad and Tobago as we have stayed true to the original recipe and our commitment to using only fresh, local peppers. Whether adding it to your favorite dish or as a dipping sauce, our sauces will take your taste buds to the next level!
